We are looking for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist who will play a key role in growing high-quality organic traffic through offsite strategies and content-focused initiatives. This entry-level position will support the execution of SEO campaigns, content optimization, keyword research, and link-building efforts to help attract high-intent customers and maximize website performance.
They should have a passion for digital content and performance marketing, with a strong interest in reading and writing. Must be detail-oriented, consistent, and methodical in content creation and strategy optimization. They will collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure SEO best practices are applied and aligned with broader performance goals.
Salary: Php 25,000
Basic Qualifications:
Academic Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or any related field.
- Digital Marketing Certifications (e.g. Google Digital Garage, Semrush Academy, Ahrefs Academy, etc.) are a plus.
Relevant Work Experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working on websites for SaaS, digital platforms, or B2B groups that focus on business technology is preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
- Solid grasp of SEO fundamentals, with a focus on content management and link-building strategies.
- Proficiency in keyword and website research tools such as Semrush and Google Keyword Planner.
- Strong copywriting and content editing skills tailored for search optimization.
- Experience working with CMS and publishing platforms; familiarity with Webflow CMS is a plus.
- Knowledge of current outreach strategies and best practices for offsite SEO.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong file management habits and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Basic understanding of HTML and website architecture, including on-page SEO optimization techniques.
Duties & Responsibilities:
On-site SEO: Content Management
- Conduct keyword research based on overall strategy, briefs, and guidelines provided by the Product Marketing team.
- Develop, edit, and publish new content via CMS tools, with a target of three (3) publications per month.
- Optimize and update current content to enhance performance metrics, including search rankings, website traffic, and click-through rates.
- Monitor the performance of published content using tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, and Semrush, and provide recommendations for continuous optimization.
Off-site SEO: Linkbuilding
- Identify link-building opportunities aligned with target keywords and content.
- Execute outreach campaigns to secure backlinks through partnerships, directories, and content placements.
- Track and report on acquired links and their impact on authority and rankings.
Additional
- Propose additional tools, software, channels, or methodologies for better management and ultimately improving conversion rates across digital platforms.
- Ensure best practices are consistently applied across all efforts to maintain and improve the website's search engine performance.
- Provide support for various ad-hoc tasks as required to assist in broader marketing and digital initiatives.
