We are in search of a People Operations Intern who will support the People and Culture team in our recruitment and onboarding efforts. This internship offers a great opportunity for someone looking to gain practical experience in Human Resources (HR). It allows interns to learn various facets of HR and contribute to the organization's success while building strong foundational people operations skills for a career within a fast-paced technology or SaaS industry. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Academic Background:
    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or any related field
  • Skills and Knowledge:
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
    • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, Slack, etc.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist in recruitment from sourcing candidates to posting job openings on different job boards, social media platforms, RUSH careers page, and referrals;
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for open positions;
  • Coordinate interview schedules with candidates, hiring managers, and vendor partners;
  • Prepare onboarding requirements and organize new hire paperwork, including employee information sheet, offer letters, contracts, and tools of work;
  • Facilitate new employee orientation sessions to introduce them to company policies, culture, and expectations;
  • Send thank you emails to applicants to build a strong talent pool for future opportunities;
  • Maintain candidate records, talent requisition forms, and recruitment trackers;
  • Support in any People and Governance team events, projects, or initiatives; and
  • Assist in any HR admin-related tasks that might be assigned.
