Understanding the Role

We are on a mission to infuse RUSH’s innovation with creativity, to create compelling visuals that relay our brand identity and ensure that every marketing touchpoint leaves an unforgettable impression. That said, we are looking for a skilled Creative Specialist who will contribute to the overall creative direction, and develop static and video visual assets for the Company’s various channels: social media, digital, on ground, print, and more.

Success in this role demands an eye for beauty, exceptional communication skills, and a collaborative nature.

Basic Qualifications

  • Academic Background: Bachelor's Degree in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Advertising/Media, Mass Communications, or any related field. 
  • Relevant Work Experience:
    • 3 to 5 years of experience in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia
    • Has experience with basic motion graphic animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Is highly skilled in desktop publishing and layout design (eg., Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop)
  • Soft Skills
    • Has excellent communication skills
    • Is open to feedback and willing to expand knowledge in the field
    • Has the passion for creativity and innovation, and pays strong attention to detail.
    • Has the ability to adapt in fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Other Requirements: the applicant must submit a portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative work across various platforms (specifically video editing, social media content and print publication).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creates engaging and visually appealing assets for social media, web, digital, print, and video content.
  • Edits photos and videos to enhance quality and appeal, using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
  • Develops basic motion graphic animations to enhance video content and create dynamic visuals.
  • Participates in photo and video shoots, providing creative direction and support as needed.
  • Takes ownership of projects from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely completion.
  • Collaborates with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and designs that align with brand guidelines and objectives.
  • Stays updated with industry trends and best practices in design, digital media, and content creation.
