Understanding the Role
In order for the business to keep its upward trajectory, the acquisition of new clientele, as well as proper management of its customer base, are key levers. As such, the Account Manager plays an important role in RUSH’s pursuit, making all the difference between continuous or exponential growth.
They are the go-to person for revenue generation through account acquisition and management. They must lead the Key and Enterprise Account Management teams, strategizing how best to build connections with new and existing clients, working closely with them to identify and address their needs, and ensuring that the teams are providing quality, efficient services. They achieve all this with their strong skill set and industry experience in B2B sales, strategy, negotiation and client relationship building.
Salary: Php 60,000
Basic Qualifications
Academic Background:- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field
- Master's degree is preferred but not required
- At least 7 years of professional experience in Sales and/or Key Account Management. An equivalent of the same in working experience is also acceptable for the position
Skills and Knowledge
Technical Skills:- Must have superior Excel skills; has basic computer, CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite skills. Experience in software development is an advantage.
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An active listener, amazing presenter and strong negotiator, who ensures that major contracts, partnerships, and collaborations are closed.
- Must strive to provide solutions for internal teams and clients alike.
- A team player who can also mentor their people.

- Efficient with the team's time, resources and energy; can multitask and manage numerous accounts at a time.

Duties & Responsibilities
Be at the forefront of merchant acquisition.- They must lead the Enterprise Account Management team to sell RUSH eStore and Loyalty products, as well as the Key Account Management team in charge of SMEs and key merchants to hit acquisition targets.
- They must also monitor and support newly-activated merchants for the first 30 days; this involves actively communicating with them, helping them plan and understand the best ways to utilize RUSH software based on their business needs.
- Lastly, they must assure that the merchants’ new platforms are deployed within the specific SLA.
- This involves educating merchants on relevant software capabilities so they are encouraged to use their RUSH platforms.
- It also involves introducing merchants to new products and services by creating upselling and cross-selling opportunities with the Success and Growth departments.
- They must be knowledgeable of both the Brand’s clientele - key merchants and their position in the industry - and the products - RUSH’s eStore and Loyalty services.
- They must be capable data analysts who are able to turn sales statistics into actionable insights.
- They also serve as the escalation point of contact for all merchant management matters and negotiations.
- Lastly, they must be proactive in upskilling their team, creating and implementing account management learning and development programs.
